This experiment aims to visualize and understand how sugar solutions with varying concentrations and food coloring can produce an attractive visual effect resembling a rainbow. Sugar solutions with high, medium, and low concentrations were prepared and added with red, yellow, and blue food coloring, respectively. These solutions were then combined in a transparent glass. The observations showed that sugar solutions with different concentrations have different densities, resulting in a clear separation of colors resembling a rainbow. This color pattern was visible, with the red solution at the bottom, yellow in the middle, and blue at the top. The experiment demonstrated that variations in sugar concentration and food coloring can produce an interesting visual effect and provide insights into basic chemical principles such as density and phase separation.
