Oculus Silva, a non-intrusive multi-terrain habitat surveillance drone with extendable functions, safeguards ecosystems through real-time environmental monitoring. Inspired by nature, this spherical bot uses AI to analyze temperature, rainfall, humidity, wildlife populations and has a 360-degree vision. The bot is made of carbon fiber, metal/plastic for the outer shell, rubber for the external pads, a tungsten weight for the internal steering mechanism, and stainless steel for heavy-duty moving parts. By predicting threats like wildfires and poaching, it empowers forest authorities for proactive intervention, aligning with the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 15 which focuses on life on land, ultimately promoting environmental safety and forest health.
