The project theme that was carried out is the product development and the scope area of this project is located at Arau, Perlis. The problem statement of this project is Harumanis mango, iconic in Perlis, is famed for its delicious flesh and is a key export both domestically and internationally (MyMetro, 2016). However, its seed kernel is often overlooked. Research suggests using mango seed kernel as flour Wahdaniar, 2023), but its seasonal nature poses a challenge for mass production. Storing the fruit below 0°C could address this issue (P.F. Lam, 1988). Despite the potential for innovative uses, like keychains made from agricultural waste (M.Zaim, 2020; Mukhamad Zulianto, 2021), no keychains from Harumanis seed kernels have been developed due to insufficient research and development. The objective of the study was to identify potential keychains product based on Harumanis seed kernel, to produce keychains product based on Harumanis seed kernel, to evaluate the acceptant of customer toward Harumanis seed kernel keychains. From the questionnaire, based on the research findings, involving 30 respondents who participated in the study. The data pertaining to relative advantage suggests that the Harumanis Seed Keychain garners positive perceptions across a spectrum of attributes, with an average mean score of 4.55 is high. It is notably distinguished by its high relative advantage, uniqueness, attractiveness, sentimental or cultural value, environmental friendliness, quality, and value for money. Furthermore, there is a strong confidence in its potential for successful marketing within the market.
