Most sugar confectioneries presented in current market have high sugar content. Promoting such products with a tag of “healthy” might improve nutritional characteristics of products usually deems as devoid of it. The reason being for the use of fruit peel is to reduce food waste and in the meantime also support good health and well-being. Though it is known that children of small age are usually the targeted market for like products, no parts take responsibility in promoting awareness of such danger of its consumption. Moreover, the price of these products are not cheap, since the price of sugar as well as fresh produced has spiked these days. Therefore, the aim of this study is to develop a standard recipe of a healthy gummies by utilizing fruit peels in two varieties: one using the liquid extracted from boiled peels and the other using pulverize fruit peels’ puree. Both variant undergo similar standard in terms of ingredients and method except as mentioned. Result shown that both gummies are suitable for consumption but the one using pulverize fruit peels have an in depth flavour and brighter colour tone to it. For future development, one has to identify method to commercially prolong lifespan of said products.
