The EcoSeed project presents an innovative approach to sustainability by repurposing waste materials, specifically eggshells and recycled paper, to foster the growth of seedlings. Eggshells, commonly discarded as waste, are rich in calcium and minerals essential for plant growth, while recycled paper offers a biodegradable medium for seed germination. Through a series of experiments and trials, this project explores the efficacy of utilizing eggshells and recycled paper as sustainable alternatives for traditional seedling cultivation methods. By harnessing these waste products, EcoSeed aims to reduce environmental impact, promote circular economy principles, and contribute to greener practices in agriculture and horticulture. This abstract highlights the potential of EcoSeed to revolutionize seedling production while addressing waste management challenges and advancing sustainable development goals.
