The Smart Garden is an innovation in agriculture that utilizes advanced technology to ensure safety and productivity. In pursuit of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 2, zero hunger, we have equipped the garden with detection devices such as ultrasonic sensors, infrared sensors, and sound sensors. Each of these devices acts as protection against intruders and pests entering the garden. The main problem addressed is the enhancement of agricultural yield security from intruders and pests that could diminish output. The primary objective of this project is to develop an effective and efficient detection system using a combination of different sensor technologies. The methodology involves building an embedded system with programming to activate appropriate responses based on data received from each sensor. The uniqueness of this system lies in the integration of various types of sensors with suitable outputs such as LED lights, a buzzer, and servo motors, which function cohesively to deter intruders. Additionally, the system's ability to respond to noise is a novel feature not found in previous systems. Benefits to society include increased agricultural yields of higher quality by reducing the risk of pest attacks and theft. This system not only protects crops but also contributes to global efforts to reduce hunger by ensuring stable and sufficient food supplies. Thus, the Smart Garden represents a step forward in research and technological innovation in the agricultural sector to meet future global needs.
