Texture-modified food refers to food that has been modified in terms of its texture to facilitate easier chewing and swallowing, especially for individuals with oral health problems or difficulty swallowing. Food modification is essential for individuals who experience challenges with mastication (chewing) or deglutition (swallowing) due to factors such as ageing, neurological disorders, or other medical ailments. Thus, the main objective of this product is to provide ideas for helping the elderly with oral health problems. Furthermore, the aim is to enhance the global recognition of local Malay cuisine by developing a mushroom flan that caters to diverse demographic segments.
