Our mission is twofold: to empower users to reduce food waste and encourage conscious, sustainable choices in the kitchen. To combat the pressing issue of food waste, SnapSavor offers an array of innovative features. With Recipic, users can transform their home ingredients into delectable, nutritious meals, receiving instant recipe ideas and ingredient suggestions. ExpiryGuard becomes a reliable guardian, helping users manage expiration dates, reducing emissions, and avoiding food waste. NutriShare guides users in donating food to places like food banks and orphanages, employing a mapping feature to find suitable locations based on their availability. CompARer empowers users to compare ingredient prices across stores and identify the most nutritious options. Additionally, SnapSavor addresses the critical concern of food waste decomposition through SmartSaver. Users can turn leftovers into new meals, track energy and emissions with the GHG calculator, and learn effective decomposition methods. To ensure user-friendliness and effectiveness, we conducted extensive research and surveys, guaranteeing a seamless experience.
