ABSTRACT Omicum Basillicum has been used widely as a traditional medicine. Although it is still being used such as for cooking, uses of omicum basillicum in medicine has decressed. Due to the investment of modern technology, many researcher prefers using chemical products to create medicinal drugs, making traditional medicine being upwardly forgotten and lack of acknowledgement. OBJECTIVE : The Basillicum Sweets is made to reduce damage before a stroke occurs and helps with recovery after a stroke occurs. It is also use as a replacement of bitter medicine for children that undergoes stroke that is caused by LDL (low-density lipoprotein). METHODOLOGY : Dry the leaves using a microwave. Then, grind them until they turn into powdered form. After that, boil 250 ml water into a pot and put in around 11.38g (2 teaspoon) of the powdered basil leave. Let it simmer for about 15 minutes. Next, sieve the mixture into another bowl then add 30 ml (2 tablespoon) of honey. Furthermore, add around 14.79ml (1 tablespoon) of freshly squeezed lemon juice into the mixture. Once it is mixed, pour in 30 grams of gelatin. After that, pour the mixture into a candy mold and store them into the fridge and wait till it hardened. Lastly wrap the solidified sweets into it’s suitable wrapper. RESULTS : resurrection of stroke are lessen. CONCLUSION : Our products works finely as the content of polyphenol compounds such as flavonoid and tannins in basil leaves can lower the LDL (low-density lipoprotein) which can cause stroke.
