The problem of body odor among primary school students is quite noticeable. Most students are not accustomed to using perfumes or deodorants. As we know, primary school students are very active, which leads to excessive sweating, particularly from the underarms, adding to unpleasant odors. In the past, people used alum to eliminate body odor. Due to this issue, we became interested in creating a deodorant using natural ingredients like alum, lemongrass extract, and saffron extract. This deodorant is very suitable for primary school students and people of all ages. We named this product RASBELA. RASBELA is a special deodorant because it not only eliminates body odor but can also be used as an insect repellent. The main ingredients of RASBELA are alum (for odor removal), saffron extract (for whitening and treatment), and lemongrass (for insect repellent). We have collaborated with the Vocational College of Wakaf Tembesu (Science Unit) at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Sultan Zainal Abidin University (UNISZA) for idea development and product effectiveness formulation.
